New course: even faster, even more attractive!
In order to make the spring classic even faster and more attractive for runners and their spectators, the organizers have optimized the course through the German capital. A few kilometers around the tranquil Lietzensee in Charlottenburg through the western part of the city will be omitted and added in central Berlin around Alexanderplatz.

The Goethe.Culture.Run in Weimar 2025
The unique running event in Thuringia. To mark the 250th anniversary of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's arrival in Weimar, the unique Goethe.Culture.Run will take place on 27 April 2025. With so-called cultural time-outs, it is not to be understood as a classic competition, rather the event combines sport and culture to create a special experience.

GENERALI 5K - the new highlight at the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON
Premiere for a new running event! The GENERALI 5K at BMW BERLIN-MARATHON will start for the first time on 28 September 2024. The new, high-class running event leads over the last 5 kilometres of the original course to the marathon finish. Perfect as a warm-up for participants, family & friends and, of course, all Berliners who have been giving their all as spectators along the route for decades. Medal, timekeeping and pure emotion included!

Nolan Beddiaf and Laura Files win the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON
The inline skaters also celebrated their season opener at the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON. More than 1,000 inline skaters started shortly before the runners and enjoyed perfect conditions. Nolan Beddiaf and Laura Files won ahead of their competitors in the professional category.
