Tours for spectators

If you want to experience the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON as a spectator, you have several options to get to watch the skater and runner fields multiple times – either by bike, by subway and suburban train, or on foot, depending on whether you want to cheer on friends or just want to enjoy the entire field. It should be noted, however, that the skaters are about twice as fast as the runners, so it makes sense to plan your route. The fastest skaters require about 30 minutes for the half-marathon distance, while the fastest runners finish in about an hour. Please note that there may be some construction impacting the S-Bahn and subway lines.

A good place to get started is along the S-Bahn line between the stations Friedrichstrasse and Charlottenburg. Further viewing points can be reached using subway line U2 between Märkisches Museum and Sophie-Charlotte-Platz. The best option is to purchase a day pass or a 4-rides ticket.
